The instrument has eight finger holes on the front and one hole on the opposite side.
Length – 35-36cm
Diapason – from lower octave ti to II octave re
When the finger holes are not blocked the sound of II octave re is produced, when six holes are blocked the sound of I octave re is produced.

The instrument consists of a pipe and a reed. A horn prepared from a cow’s horn is fixed to the lower part of the pipe. The reed is prepared from ebonite and a cane mouthpiece. The mouthpiece can produce shrill or soft sounds. The instrument can be prepared in different keys - in C, A, E, F, B, etc.
