The flute is the Armenian national instrument. It belongs to the lyrical instruments’ family. The modern flutes are mostly made of apricot wood. The instrument can be of various sizes. The instrument’s temper is determined by its size. The longer the instrument, the deeper are the sounds it produces, and the shorter it is, the higher and more shrilling are the produced sounds.
