Duduk bass

The instrument consists of three parts.
It has seven finger holes on the front and one hole on the opposite side.
Length – 64cm
Diapason – from higher octave la to lower octave la
When the finger holes are not blocked the sound of lower octave la is produced, when six holes are blocked the sound of higher octave la is produced.

The instrument is made of apricot wood. Perhaps, this is the reason for its sounds having the sweetness of apricot.
The instrument is composed of a pipe and a cane reed, which joins the upper part of the instrument. There are nine holes on the front and two holes on the opposite side of the pipe. A mobile loop for regulating the tune is located in the middle part of the reed. Besides the mentioned keys, the semitones are received through partially blocking/releasing the holes.
